Dieser El Dorado Single Still Port Mourant 2009 wurde im historischen Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still hergestellt, der älteste und einzige seiner Art, der heute noch in Betrieb ist. Erbaut wurde er auf dem bereits im Jahr 1732 gegründeten Port Mourant Estate; später auf das Uitvlugt Estate und im Jahr 2000 auf das Diamond Estate verlegt. Seitdem produziert dieser berühmte Double Wooden Pot Still kleine Mengen von El Dorado Heritage Rums. Dieser köstliche Rum basiert auf erstklassige Zuckerrohrmelasse. Nach seiner Destillation reifte er zwölf Jahre in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern, bevor er ohne Kältefiltration in limitierter Auflage abgefüllt wurde. Ein vollmundiger, ausgewogener Demerara-Rum, kräftig und aromatisch, mit schönen Noten von süßen gebackenen Äpfeln, untermalt mit einem Hauch Vanille, Zimt, flambierter Banane und Kokosnuss. Auch leicht rauchige Noten stellen sich ein.
