Rum from four different islands, blended and bottled in France - the French spirits house Ôdevie Creative Spirits takes an unusual approach with its Island Signature Collection: rather than committing to a single origin, the range presents four distinct "Grand Crus" from Mauritius, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala, each aged three to eight years in oak casks. Every bottling carries its own narrative name: Turquoise Bay refers to an actual bay on Mauritius, while Anacaona is named after a Taino chieftainess who lived on Hispaniola long before Columbus' arrival. Notably, Ôdevie is also behind the brand Arcane, likewise produced on Mauritius - the two projects complement each other within the company's portfolio.
