The original Plantation Rum nosing glass by Stölzle in the typical tulip shape bears the Plantation Rum logo on the front and is about 16.5 cm tall.
Plantation Rum was founded in 1999 to celebrate the diversity of the world’s finest rums and their terroirs and to revive the ancestral practice of double ageing in tropical and continental climates. For it Alexandre Gabriel buys premium aged rum from established producers, mostly in the Caribbean, and ships it to France, where it ages a second time in used barrels from the cognac side of Maison Ferrand’s operations. The brand is now called Planteray.
