Bristol Guyana Port Mourant 1999/2022 Limited Edition Anniversary Bottling ist eine außergewöhnliche Demerara-Rumabfüllung aus Guyana, herausgegeben von Bristol Spirits. Die Spirituose erhielt ihren Namen durch die Destillation im Port Mourant Double Wooden Still, einer der berühmtesten Pot Stills in der Karibik, ursprünglich gebaut auf dem riesigen Komplex der Diamond Distillery, ansässig am Ostufer des Demerara-Flusses, südlich des Zentrums von Georgetown, der Hauptstadt Guyanas. Nach Destillation in 1999 lagerte die Spirituose zunächst in Eichenfässern unter der karibischen Sonne, bevor man sie in 2004 in die kühlen Keller von Bristol Spirits ins Vereinigte Königreich transferierte, um dort bis zur Abfüllung im Jahr 2022 weiterzureifen. Das Ergebnis ist ein feiner Rum mit natürlicher Farbe, der ein volles Aromenbouquet von Früchten und ausgewogenem Holz offenbart. Er zeichnet sich durch seinen vollen Geschmack, seine Tiefe und seiner natürlichen Süße am Gaumen aus. Im langanhaltenden Abgang ist oft ein Hauch von Anis zu spüren.
