Mit dem Bristol Port Morant Guyana 2008/2018 präsentiert der unabhängige Abfüller Bristol Spirits wieder einmal eine außergewöhnliche Abfüllung. Der exklusive Rum stammt von den Demerara Distillers aus Guyana. Dort wurde er in einem einzigartigen Brennkessel hergestellt, einem doppelten Pot Still aus Holz, das seinen Namen der Destillerie verdankt, aus der dieses alte Still ursprünglich stammt: Port Morant. 10 lange Jahre reifte der einmalige Rum heran, bevor er in Bristol im Vereinigten Königreich abgefüllt wurde. Durch die lange Reifung hat er eine schöne, dunkle Farbe und zeigt sich unglaublich komplex und harmonisch. Ausdrucksstarke Noten exotischer Früchte, Töne von Vanille und leichte Geschmacksnoten von Holz und herrlichen Gewürzen werden abgelöst von Toffee und getrockneten Früchten. Sein langer Nachklang überzeugt jeden Genießer, der bis dahin von diesem eleganten Rum noch nicht vollends begeistert war.
