Dieser Bristol Reserve Rum of Trinidad & Tobago Caroni 1998/2022 zählt zu den letzten echten Raritäten aus der legendären Caroni Distillery auf Trinidad, die inzwischen nicht mehr existiert. Dieses besondere Fass konnte sich der renommierte unabhängige Abfüller Bristol Spirits für seine Bristol Classic Rum-Range sichern. Nach der Destillation im Jahr 1998 reifte der Rum zunächst zwölf Jahre vor Ort in ausgewählten amerikanischen Eichenfässern, bevor er 2010 nach England überführt wurde. Dort folgte eine weitere, langjährige Reifephase in den Kellergewölben von Bristol Spirits, die bis zur Abfüllung im Jahr 2022 andauerte. Der Rum zeigt sich in einer intensiven goldenen Farbe und präsentiert eine klassische Caroni-Nase mit markanten, charakteristischen Noten und dezentem Holzeinfluss. Am Gaumen entfalten sich volle, tiefe Fruchtaromen mit schöner Balance und Struktur, die in ein langes, harmonisch eingebundenes Finish übergehen.
