Around 150 years ago, the Danish pharmacist, adventurer, and rum lover Albert Heinrich Riise had a brilliant idea: He brought Caribbean spirits to Europe under the name Old St. Croix - a liquid A declaration of love to the island of St. Croix, known for its sun-drenched sugar cane and relaxed lifestyle.
Now the brand is celebrating a stylish comeback: Old St. Croix XO Legacy is the first blend to once again bear the legendary name. A limited edition that not only revives the historic trademark, but also combines the old recipe with modern know-how – and yes, the label looks as elegant as it sounds.
The master distiller has dug deep into his treasure trove and snatched the best barrels from the Caribbean and Central America. The result? A composition so rich, complex, and velvety that, upon taking the first sip, you wonder if you haven't just secretly traveled back in time.
