Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey
The Double Barrel Whiskey consists of a unique combination of three different whiskeys - two whiskeys from Tennessee with a traditional bourbon mash bill and a straight rye whiskey.
Each of these whiskeys matures independently for at least six years in new oak barrels and fresh ex-bourbon barrels before they are married and another year in fresh, heavily burnt ones American oak barrels.
This particular aging creates robust aromas of toasted hardwood in a dark, amber whiskey.
Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey is filtered through maple charcoal (also known as the Lincoln County Process) before bottling, resulting in a smooth, mild whiskey with a soft finish.
