Profile: What Makes the GlenAllachie Nosing Glass Special
The original nosing glass of the Scottish Speyside distillery GlenAllachie. The glass has the typical tulip shape of a nosing glass. The bulbous body at the bottom lets you warm the whisky very well with the palm of your hand. The tapered opening keeps the rising aromas from escaping the glass. The distillery lettering is shown on the front, and on the back are two measure marks for 2 cl and 4 cl – handy for accurately measuring samples and tastings.
