Tasting Notes: What Benriach 12 Year Old Three Cask Matured Tastes Like
- Nose: Distinct maple syrup and soft honey, then aromas of ripe berries and red fruit follow – cocoa powder in the background
- Palate: The red fruit is very present now, above all ripe dark cherries and raisins, plus nutty notes and orange peel
- Finish: Long finish, the raisins again – roasted coffee and spiced mocha above all
