The rum for Arrangé Ananas Caramélisé from the Rivière du Mât distillery, based on La Réunion since 1886, is made from the finest molasses obtained from fresh sugar cane from its own plantations. Macerated pineapple and selected exotic spices are added to the resulting white rum. The result glows in a beautiful amber with copper reflections.
The distillery in Saint-Benoît on the island’s east coast is one of the oldest still active on La Réunion; its chimney is a listed monument. With its four arrangé recipes it shows an absolutely typical speciality of the island.
