Glenfarclas 105 Cask strength

Profile: What Makes Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength Special
Glenfarclas 105 is bottled at cask strength – the “105” refers to the old British proof scale, equal to 60% ABV. Despite its fieriness it is incredibly gentle. The 0.05 l miniature is a good way to get to know it.
Tasting Notes: What Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength Tastes Like
- Nose: Complex with plenty of sherry, very creamy with nutty aromas, plus toasted bread, honey and coffee tones; figs, red berries and orange peel
- Palate: Soft and spicy – again the nuts, dark fruit and sherry – some chocolate; cinnamon and a kick of ginger
- Finish: Long finish – the spice and the nuts are still present; warm and peppery
