The Glenfarclas 9 Years Old Oloroso Sherry Casks is bottled with an alcohol strength of 44.1% vol., which is atypical for Glenfarclas.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Glenfarclas 9 Years Old Oloroso Sherry Casks tastes

  • Nose: the sweet sherry cask influence is unmistakable - fruity aromas of ripe grapes in harmonious balance with spicy tones of cardamom and cinnamon
  • Palate: soft and round in the taste with strong notes of soft vanilla and roasted nuts, plus juicy tones of dried figs and dates - above all the sweet sherry
    • Finish: medium finish - the sherry is now very present, with slight hints of nuts and oak
