Nose: toasted cereal and traces of wintry spices such as cardamom and cinnamon, somewhat buttery with roasted oak - then dark sugar, malt and some rum and apple peel
Taste: medium body, very well balanced - pleasantly sweet with clear notes of fudge and toffee, the sugar and the spices come back, with herbs
Finish: mid-length finish with sweet and fruity notes

Durch die Lagerung in Sherry- und in Bourbon-Fässern hat dieser Whisky eine Note entwickelt, die mir sehr gut schmeckt.
