Finlaggan Old Reserve
Finlaggan is a single malt whisky from one of the most famous distilleries of Islay, unfortunately the Vintage Malt Whiskey Company is not allowed to give the name for legal reasons.
A genuine, peaty Islay Single Malt Whisky, with lots of peat and smoke in the aroma and flavor, plus medicinal and phenolic notes, moist leather and a hint of licorice.
So everything you expect from an Islay whisky.

er erzeugt ein angenehmes rauchiges Aroma. Hat einen guten langen Abgang. Schöne Farbe.

Wenn es ein “billiger” Islay sein muss, dann dieser und nicht der Ileach.
Allerdings ist es noch besser die 5€ drauf zu legen um sich einen Bowmore zu holen.
Der Finlaggan ist okay, aber nichts besonderes.

Der Old Reserve ist noch einen Kick besser, als der Normale. Ich fand ihn nirgens billiger,als bei Home of Malts. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und bestens verpackt. Der Finlaggan bietet weitaus mehr an Geschmack, als der Preis vermuten lässt. Man muss den Rauch halt mögen.
Habe jetzt 2 1/2 Flaschen zu Hause.
