Finlaggan Old Reserve
Finlaggan is a single malt whisky from one of the most famous distilleries of Islay, unfortunately the Vintage Malt Whiskey Company is not allowed to give the name for legal reasons.
A genuine, peaty Islay Single Malt Whisky, with lots of peat and smoke in the aroma and flavor, plus medicinal and phenolic notes, moist leather and a hint of licorice.
So everything you expect from an Islay whisky.

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, zwar kein Top-Reißer, aber für den Preis ein guter rauchiger/torfiger Whisky den ich mir auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen werde.

Feiner Islay-Whisky. Schön rauchig mit einem Hauch Salz. Alkoholgehalt könnte etwas höher sein.

Für den Preis ganz ok, der Rauch ist recht kräftig, Richtung Asche. Die Süße ist verhalten.

Der torfige Geschmack wird leider im Abgang von einer "medizinischen" Geschmacksnote beeinflusst, der sicherlich nicht jedermanns Sache ist.
Von daher sicherlich ein gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis, aber für mich persönlich keine Kaufempfehlung.

Für mich zu medizinisch im Abgang
