Finlaggan Old Reserve
Finlaggan is a single malt whisky from one of the most famous distilleries of Islay, unfortunately the Vintage Malt Whiskey Company is not allowed to give the name for legal reasons.
A genuine, peaty Islay Single Malt Whisky, with lots of peat and smoke in the aroma and flavor, plus medicinal and phenolic notes, moist leather and a hint of licorice.
So everything you expect from an Islay whisky.

Ich gebe ihm deutlich den Vorzug gegenüber dem Finlaggan Original, intensiver im Geruch und Geschmack (bei fast gleichem Preis).

ein ehrlicher Tropfen, rauchig, nach Torf schmeckend und trotzdem recht weich. Für diesen Preis fast unschlagbar.

Finlaggan.
Die Preisbrecher von der Insel Isla.
Nachdem sich schon der Original bei mir als absoluter Allday etabliert hat,
hier mit dem Ols Reserve noch eine Steigerung an phenolischer Rauchigkeit.
Die Geschmacksbandbreite von Finlaggan ist bemerkenswert, findet man so
kaum bei den Original-Abfüllern.
Wo der wohl herkommt.
