Finlaggan is the name of the castle on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay, which was formerly the seat of the Lord of the Isles was.
Finlaggan is a Single Malt Whisky from one of the well-known distilleries on the island of Islay, unfortunately The Vintage Malt Whisky Company is not allowed to mention the name for legal reasons.
A genuine, peaty Islay single malt whiskey, with lots of peat and smoke in the aroma and taste, plus medicinal and phenolic notes, moist leather and a hint Liquorice.
So everything you would expect from an Islay whisky.
Tasting Notes: This is how the Finlaggan Original tastes like
- Nose: intense aromas of sweet malt and strong peat smoke - followed by ripe apples and pears
- Palate: mouth-filling and complex with phenolic notes, with gauze bandages and damp leather - lots of sweet smoke with a little sea salt - over everything malty Notes
- Finish: medium long and full in the finish - hints of licorice, leather again and peat smoke

Für meinen geschmack etwas zu dünn, könnte ein paar Prozente mehr haben. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältniss ist dafür OK.

war mir bisher nicht bekannt und wollte
ich deshalb unbedingt mal probieren
wunderbar torfig und lecker
und trotzdem sehr preiswert
Auf jeden Fall ein auch preislich feines Produkt
für Freunde leicht torfiger Islays .....................
