Connemara is a true pure pot still whiskey from the still-young Cooley distillery – located in the west of Ireland. Cooley was only founded in 1987, yet frequently surprises with its inventiveness. Unusually for Irish whiskeys, this malt was distilled from barley malted over a peat fire. The sample is ideal for an easy introduction to this smoky Irish style.
