Profile: What Makes Slyrs Classic Special
The single malt whisky from Lake Schliersee – matured in new 225-litre oak casks. The casks of fresh American white oak let intense vanilla and oak flavours flow into the elegantly sweet single malt. The sample makes it easy to get to know.
The Classic is a finely balanced composition of whiskies aged in casks for three to six years.
Tasting Notes: What Slyrs Classic Tastes Like
- Nose: Strong aromas of dried fruit, plus caramel and spicy tones, above all ginger; apricot and orange peel
- Palate: Sweeter than on the nose, slightly nutty notes; marzipan and walnut
