The Redbreast 12 year old is one of the first single pot still whiskeys since 1939 Ireland.
Thrice distilled from malted and unmalted barley it matures in former Oloroso Sherry Casks.
The Midleton distillery has it The Redbreast 12 year old sets the bar high for Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, as only a few Single Pot Still Whiskeys can hold a candle to it.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Redbreast 12 year old tastes like
- Nose: rich aromas of exotic spices and juicy, ripe Fruits - slightly nutty aromas in the background
- Palate: soft and slightly creamy - again the spicy notes, then ripe, bright fruits and hints of Marzipan

Total spannendes Aroma - "Nüsse und Trockenfrüchte - würzig mit einer öligen Note"; genauso empfinde ich es. Sehr angenehm im Abgang.

Ein besseres Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis habe ich bisher bei noch keinem anderen Whiskey erlebt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Genau wie erwartet: ein hervorragendes irisches, langatmiges Schlückchen! Sehr fruchtig. Ist der erste Alkohol verdunstet entfaltet sich die wahre würzige Pracht!
