Profile: What Makes Dalmore 12 Year Old Special
Dalmore produces a very elegant malt. The 12-year-old matures in 50% bourbon casks of American white oak and 50% oloroso sherry wood. The sherry casks give it a pronounced sweetness and dark fruit notes, the bourbon casks vanilla.

- Nose: Very fine aromas of oranges, marmalade and spice; plus cinnamon, almonds and dark chocolate

Vielleicht etwas zu intensiv in den Aromen. Vielleicht mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser "aufbrechen"!? Aber ist halt Geschmackssache.
