It comes from the Tullibardine Distillery, located in the small village of Blackford, which has a long brewing tradition dating back to the 15th century - beer was once brewed there for King James IV. Today, the distillery is known for its cleanly distilled and cask-forward whiskies.
The Tullibardine was distilled in 2015 and matured until 2025 in first and second fill Oloroso sherry butts, which give the whisky depth and complexity.
With a robust 57.1% vol., the Highlander is bottled at cask strength and without chill filtration or coloring - a true statement for purists.
