Profile: What Makes Jura Winter Edition Special
The Jura Winter Edition was released for winter 2020/21. The whisky first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then received a finish in Spanish sherry casks. It belongs to Jura’s Cask Editions, which celebrate the connection between land and spirit.
The Isle of Jura Distillery is in Craighouse, the only village on the Scottish island. The first legal distillery was founded in 1810; after its closure in 1901 it was rebuilt in 1963 to counter the island’s population decline; since 1993 it has belonged to Whyte & Mackay. Fewer than 300 people live on the island, along with the famous Paps of Jura.

Ein wirklich milder aber runder Whisky. Intensive Sherrynoten mit Gewürzen und einer angenehmen Sirupsüße. gefolgt von einem Vanilleabgang.
