- Nose: Intense peat aromas, then turning sweeter, burnt marshmallows and roasted pineapple, bananas and ham behind them
- Palate: Mouth-filling – oily with a light vinegar note, plus intense smoky notes and medicinal tones – honey and limes above all
- Finish: Long in the finish with tones of burning oak logs – the fruit again in the background
