A blended malt whisky in the ranks of Famous Grouse bottlings.
Only blanched former Oloroso sherry casks were used for the maturation of this blended malt whisky - hence the name "Naked".
Nose: soft aromas of freshly roasted wholemeal bread and malt, ripe cherries, peaches and nectarines behind - over all soft vanilla flavors
Taste: soft, almost oily in the taste, clearly the sherry casks with intense notes of ripe, red berries, juicy raisins and fresh jam - then toffee fudge, caramel and again the vanilla
Finish: Medium Finish - the fruits fade into the background and make room for chocolate, spicy oak and some smoke
