The elegant rum from Panama first matures in former bourbon barrels made of American white oak, then the rum is given a second ripening in former cognac barrels.
Aroma: ripe fruit, fresh coconut, vanilla and brown cane sugar
Taste: starting with dates and figs, then clearly the cognac barrel - plus notes of fresh vanilla and cocoa
Finish: long, fruity finish with soft notes of caramel and toffee

Schöner Rum, schöne Holzschachtel. Aber auch hochpreisig. Ich bin persönlich ein Freund von übertriebenen Aromen, hier kommt ein sehr ausgeglichener Rum. Kann man gut pur trinken, mit 40% ist der ja noch sehr mild.
