Tamdhu 12 year old

Tamdhu’s new 12-year-old replaces the distillery’s previous 10-year-old single malt whisky. Matured exclusively in former sherry casks, it is a velvety, mouth-filling Speysider with a distinct sherry note.
Tasting Notes: What Tamdhu 12 Year Old Tastes Like
- Nose: Cinnamon pastry and freshly cut oak – some mint in the background; raisins and orange candy
- Palate: Velvety-soft and mouth-filling with intense notes of ripe bananas, malt and pastry – a distinct sherry note above all; raspberry jam and toasted oak
- Finish: Long and very well balanced – ground spices, dried fruit and soft fudge

Als großer Tamdhufan habe ich mit dem 12er eine echte Enttäuschung erlebt, fand den 10er um Längen besser.
