Wenn ich mit einem Glas Plantation in der Hand die Augen schließe, sehe ich Segeltuch und Hanftaue, die Masten der Schiffe und Holzbohlen über die Rumfässer gerollt werden und höre Hafenlärm. Eine wunderbare Reise zum Ursprung des Rums.

Nachlassend

Dieser Rum hat extrem nachgelassen. Die lange Lagerung darf bezweifelt werden, niemand hat den Boom für hochwertigen Rum vorhersehen können. Ich habe 16 Flaschen in 4 Jahren getrunken, und festgestellt, wie der Rum nach und nach seine Milde verlohren hat. Die Aromen sind zwar geblieben, die Qualität hat aber dramatisch gelitten. Wirklich Schade.
