Profile: What Makes Turquoise Bay Amber Rum Special
This premium blended rum is composed of amber rums from the island of Mauritius, distilled from molasses, and bottled in France. An agreeable, easy-drinking rum – soft and creamy with lightly sweet notes of tropical fruit. The sample makes it easy to get to know.
The label recalls turquoise sea and white sandy beach, or the Turquoise Bay, a holiday bay on Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. The blend is made up of several local rums that matured for up to eight years in island conditions. The longer maturation in oak casks gives colour and complex aromas and makes it pleasantly soft, harmonious and somewhat creamy.

- Nose: Dried mango, rum-soaked cake, orange peel and baking spice; plus vanilla, caramelised sugar and gentle wood
