- Nose: Rich aromas of tropical fruit, fresh vanilla pods and soft toffee; toffee, spices, cinnamon and sultanas against a rich rum backdrop; caramelised sugar
- Palate: Recalls sweet rum, the vanilla again, plus ginger and limes – then notes of apples, mango and oranges develop; apricots and chocolate, later dried pineapple and mango
- Finish: Rich and spicy, plus the creamy vanilla again; the rum now arrives in force, a dark-nutty character and beautiful spices, plus coriander and figs
