Tasting Notes: What Finlaggan Sherry Finished Tastes Like
- Nose: Intense peat smoke, plus aromas of ripe dark fruit – then old waxed leather and a little tobacco
- Palate: Plenty of fruit, especially dried plums, dates and oranges, plus plenty of peat – smoke and a maritime character develop behind it – notes of iodine and a little tar
- Finish: Long, warming finish – fruity-smoky

Guter Raucher von Islay
Caol Ila Rauch, was für mich heißt, dass der Rauch wie stark mit Paprika Gewürze verbrannte Chips schmeckt, zusammen mit deutlichen Sherry Einfluss. Der Whisky an sich ist noch recht jung, der Alkohol hat noch einen guten Punch. Dennoch, das Plv ist spitze
