Profile: What Makes Michter’s Straight Rye Special
Michter’s produces an excellent straight rye whiskey that is bottled only by the barrel: every bottle comes from a single cask. The whiskey matures in charred barrels of new American white oak and is bottled at 42.4% ABV. In the sample it is easy to get to know.
It is made from select American rye grain that is sheared to get the most flavour out of the grain.
