Timorous Beastie got its name based on this to the poem To a mouse by Robert Burns, probably the most famous poet and poet in Scotland.
This Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is an ode to the Scottish highlands - and so only single malts from the Scottish Highlands find their way to this little mouse!
Distilleries like Blair Athol, Glen Garioch, The Dalmore and Glengoyne are represented.
Tasting Notes: This is how the Timorous Beastie tastes
- Nose: typical aromas of Scottish heather and wild mountain honey
- Palate: full-bodied and spicy-soft in taste - warm notes of fine wood, raisin pastries and soft hints of Spices

In der Nase Getreide, Karamell, etwas Leder, etwas reife Früchte, im Mund dann eine leichte Schärfe, Süße, Getreide, Karamell, etwas (angenehm) Bitteres.
Ordentlicher Abgang, mit leichtem Bitterton/Schärfe/Karamell.
Gefällt mir, aber kein Favorit. Unter Berücksichtigung des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses 3,5 Sterne (nur aufgerundet zu 4).

Aroma: Süß mit würzigen Honig.
Geschmack: Würzig, weich und fruchtig süß, sowie Rosinen.

Nach vier Tagen haben wir nachgefragt, wo unsere Lieferung bleibt und erhielten dann die Information, dass Sie keinen Einfluss mehr auf die Lieferzeit haben, wenn die Ware an DHL übergeben wurde.
Diesen Hinweis sollten Sie in Ihre Lieferinformationen aufnehmen.
Wir hätten die Ware möglicherweise dann auch bestellt, wären jedoch nicht so enttäuscht gewesen, weil sie nicht rechtzeitig zur Burns-Night ankam.
