The standard bottling from Ardbeg, bottled at 10 year old, is bursting with smoke and peat aromas, plus notes of damp leather, medicinal aromas, iodine, the salt air of the sea and peat again Smoke!
Tasting Notes: This is how Ardbeg 10 year old TEN tastes like
- Nose: Vanilla and a large amount of peat characterize the image of the Ardbeg 10 year old TEN, then citrus fruits follow and you can smell the sea....
- Palate: again the sweet vanilla, paired with the citrus fruits - now damp leather and medicine cabinet with iodine and gauze bandages, damp campfire ash and peat
- Finish: long and persistent - again the moist campfire ash, peat, sea salt and caramel. Some tongues say that the departure from the Ardbeg 10 year old TEN sometimes lasts until the next morning ;-)

Ein Traumtröpfchen
Einfach ein einmaliger Genuss für jeden Genießer, der weiß, was gut ist.
Leider etwas teuer, wenn man ihn gerne jeden Tag trinken möchte.
Sehr empfehlenswert. Etwas ganz Besonderes!!!

Typischer ISLAY-Raucher, aber mit einer angenehmen Spur Süße, ich mag ihn total gerne, obwohl ich beim ersten Versuch echt dachte Bääh.
