The classic from Bowmore - for the 12 year old Bowmore, exBourbon and exSherry Casks are selected and blended together in a ratio of 70% exBourbon and 30% exSherry.
The result is a delicate Single Malt Whisky with soft notes of honey, citrus fruits and sweet peat smoke.

- Nose: subtle notes of lime and honey, plus a slight smoky note peat note
- Palate: sweet and delicate, again heather honey and gentle peat smoke

Eine gute Wahl um neue Islay Fans zu kreieren. Der Bowmore 12 eignet sich sehr gut. Er ist nicht zu wuchtig. Der Geneßer wird nicht sofort mit Aromen und Komplexität bombardiert.

leicht torfig, erdig. Komplexe Noten. Nicht "einfach", die verschiedenen Noten zu schmecken.
Trotzdem sehr lecker und rund.

Er schmeckt mir sehr gut. Etwas rauchig angenehme Note und weich im Abgang.

The Bowmore 12 was medium amber in colour (non-natural) and offered citrus, orange peel, dried fruits, honey, cereal, malt, hazelnut, leather, smoke and some tar on the nose. On the palate the medium-bodied Bowmore 12 showed orange, grapefruit, peach, cereal, malt, some dark chocolate, spices, peat smoke and a hint of tar, with very good length. It had good complexity and was reasonably balanced, the warming alcohol was well-integrated. Very good value! Body 5/10, Smoke 4.5/10, Sweetness 4/10.
