The classic from Bowmore - for the 12 year old Bowmore, exBourbon and exSherry Casks are selected and blended together in a ratio of 70% exBourbon and 30% exSherry.
The result is a delicate Single Malt Whisky with soft notes of honey, citrus fruits and sweet peat smoke.

- Nose: subtle notes of lime and honey, plus a slight smoky note peat note
- Palate: sweet and delicate, again heather honey and gentle peat smoke

Islay mal anders...
Ein unverkennbarer Geschmack, der neben den torfrauchigen Islay Whiskeys so manch fruchtiges Geheimnis offenbahrt.
Der Rauch - welcher nur subtil zu erhaschen ist - wird von einem Honigtopf umgarnt, in den süße Früchte gefallen sind. Man findet Mandarine, erfrischende Zitrone, Orange, Mango aber auch eine leichte Sherry Note.
Von nichts zu viel, unendlich ergründbar...
Geheimnisvoll, magisch, komplex.
Solch eine Qualität muss für diesen Preis erst einmal gesucht werden.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältniss. Rauchig im Abgang aber nicht vordergründig

Aroma: angenehme Rauchnote, dezente Süße von Karamell und Honig, etwas Zitrone
Geschmack: deutliche aber unaufdringliche Rauchnote, etwas Sherry, angehme Süße, die aber schnell in leichte Würzigkeit übergeht
Abgang: mittellanger, würzig trockener Abgang mit angenehmer Rauchnote, zum Ende hin wieder süßer
Kommentar: Sehr ausgewogener Single Malt, der Rauchigkeit und Süße sehr schön verbindet, Ein richtig guter Tropfen mit erstklassigem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Hallo,
diesen Whisky habe ich für einen Kollegen mitbestellt, er kam gut an, ich habe allerdings noch kein Feedback erhalten.
