The classic from Bowmore - for the 12 year old Bowmore, exBourbon and exSherry Casks are selected and blended together in a ratio of 70% exBourbon and 30% exSherry.
The result is a delicate Single Malt Whisky with soft notes of honey, citrus fruits and sweet peat smoke.

- Nose: subtle notes of lime and honey, plus a slight smoky note peat note
- Palate: sweet and delicate, again heather honey and gentle peat smoke

Immer noch ein sehr guter Standard - das trifft jedoch auf den ALTEN 12-jährigen zu. Den hier abgebildeten neuen 12-jährigen hab ich nicht probiert und kann ihn daher nicht bewerten. Da die Bewertung jedoch Pflichtfeld ist, vergebe ich die "Durchschnittsnote" von 3 (der alte hat 5 verdient).
