A Kentucky straight bourbon from the “Small Batch Bourbon” range. Basil Hayden’s is distilled with a comparatively high rye content and is therefore fairly dry for a bourbon. The whiskey matures for 8 years in new American white oak casks. The result is a light, soft yet spicy bourbon.

- Nose: Charred oak and sweet brown notes of vanilla and caramel, with hints of dried fruit

Fantastischer Bourbon, sehr rund und weich, durch den höheren Roggenanteil ist er etwas weniger süss als typische Bourbons und daher ein Geheimtipp für alle die Bourbon mal anders kennenlernen wollen.
