Die Destillation dieses vorzüglichen El Dorado Single Still Enmore 2009 Rums der Demerara Distillers auf Guyana, erfolgte im ursprünglichen EHP Wooden Continuous Coffey Still, welcher erstmals 1880 auf dem Enmore Estate gebaut wurde. Der Destillierapparat, benannt nach dem ursprünglichen Besitzer der Enmore Sugar Plantation, Edward Henry Porter, basiert auf dem Originalentwurf seines Erfinders, des Iren Aeneas Coffey. Nach der Schließung des Enmore Estates in 1990, verlegte man diesen berühmten Destillierapparat zum Diamond Estate. Es handelt sich hierbei um die letzte erhaltene Holzdestillieranlage der Welt, die noch heute in Betrieb ist. Dieser einmalige Single Still Enmore Rum lagerte zwölf Jahre in ex Bourbonfässern im tropischen Klima von Guyana, welches den Reifungsprozess beschleunigt, bevor er ohne Kühlfiltration in limitierter Auflage abgefüllt wurde. Die Nase vernimmt Noten von Butterscotch, gemischt mit gerösteter Kokosnuss und Apfel. Am Gaumen offenbart er schöne Aromen von gebackenem Pfirsich und Kokosnuss, übergehend in einen rauchigen Abgang aus Zedernholz. Ein exzellenter Demerara-Rum, der dem Genießer ein ausgezeichnetes und ausgewogenes Mundgefühl beschert.
