Der Single Still El Dorado Uitvlugt Rum ist eine von sechs speziell kreierten Abfüllungen der streng limitierten Uitvlugt Special Cask Finish-Serie und wurde im Jahr 2006 im originalen französischen 4-Column Savalle Metall-Still destilliert. Dieser historische Still ist ein Erbstück aus dem 18. Jahrhundert des Uitvlugt Sugar Estate an der Westküste der Demerara-Region in Guyana und gab der Serie ihren Namen. Hergestellt von den weltweit renommierten Demerara Distillers, reifte dieser außergewöhnliche Rum insgesamt fünfzehn Jahre auf der Diamond Plantation in Guyana. Zunächst lagerte er sieben Jahre in amerikanischen Ex-Bourbon-Eichenfässern, bevor er im Rahmen eines sogenannten Double Ageing weitere acht Jahre in ausgewählten französischen Eichenfässern veredelt wurde, in denen zuvor trockene Madeira-Weine reiften und die aus einem einzigen Weingut auf der Insel Madeira stammen. Die Abfüllung erfolgte im Jahr 2021 in natürlicher Fassstärke und unterstreicht den exklusiven Charakter dieses vielschichtigen Demerara Rums mit großer Tiefe und Eleganz.
