Das Besondere an dieser Abfüllung ist die Destillation im originalen französischen 4-Column Savalle Metall-Still, einem historischen Erbstück aus dem 18. Jahrhundert des Uitvlugt Sugar Estate an der Westküste der Demerara-Region von Guyana. Dieser außergewöhnliche Rum reifte zunächst sieben Jahre in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern aus amerikanischer Eiche und anschließend weitere acht Jahre zur Veredelung in französischen Eichenfässern, in denen zuvor süße Madeira-Weine lagerten und die aus einem einzigen Weingut auf der Insel Madeira stammen. Auch wenn diese Abfüllung als Special Cask Finish bezeichnet wird, handelt es sich in Wahrheit um ein klassisches Double-Ageing-Verfahren, das dem Rum zusätzliche Tiefe, Struktur und ein besonders intensives, vielschichtiges Geschmackserlebnis verleiht.
