Dieser außergewöhnliche Rum stammt aus ausgewählten Fässern der berühmten Long Pond Distillery auf Jamaika und wurde vom unabhängigen englischen Abfüller Bristol Spirits entdeckt und gesichert. Jamaika-Rums sind bekannt für ihren markanten Stil und ihren oft hohen Esteranteil, der ihnen Tiefe und Ausdruck verleiht. Dieser Jamaica Long Pond Rum wurde im Jahr 1985 auf dem Long Pond Estate im Pot-Still-Verfahren destilliert und reifte zunächst zwölf Jahre unter der Sonne Jamaikas in gebrauchten amerikanischen Eichenfässern. Nach seiner Überführung nach England lagerte der Rum weitere fünfundzwanzig Jahre in den Kellergewölben von Bristol Spirits, wo sich seine Aromenvielfalt weiter verfeinerte und vertiefte. Die Abfüllung erfolgte ohne Kühlfilterung im Jahr 2022. Der Rum präsentiert sich in einer üppigen goldenen Farbe und offenbart in der Nase komplexe Aromen von getrockneten Früchten und Nüssen.
