Originally introduced in 2020 under the name A.H. Riise, this special bottling comes from a series of high-quality blends with a history. The brand itself goes back to the Danish pharmacist Albert Heinrich Riise, who worked on the island of St. Thomas in the Caribbean in the 19th century – where rum was not just a drink, but almost a medicine. Today, the brand operates under the name Old St. Croix, as a nod to one of the most important islands of the former Danish West Indies colonies.

For Thin Blue Line, rums from the Caribbean and Central America were used – aged between 7 and over 21 years. So, nothing off the shelf, but more like the spirits equivalent of a dress uniform.

The name is a direct reference to the Danish Thin Blue Line Association, which supports police officers who have suffered physical or mental injuries in the line of duty. A portion of the proceeds therefore goes to charity.

In short: Whoever pours this rum is not only serving the Caribbean in a glass, but also respect in liquid form. And it tastes good.
