Tasting Notes: This is how the Dailuaine 16 year old 1st-fill Oloroso Sherry Butt #1 Signatory Cask Strength Coll. tastes like.

• Nose: intense and profound - dark dried fruits such as raisins, figs and dates dominate, accompanied by aromas of dark chocolate, candied orange peel and a fine nuttiness - behind this, spicy accents of cinnamon, clove and a hint of leather develop, embedded in a strong sherry sweetness.
• Palate: full-bodied, oily and warming - the typical Dailuaine heaviness meets the luscious sweetness of the Oloroso cask - dried fruits, toffee and spicy oak merge with hints of espresso, tobacco and a touch of black pepper - the texture is velvety, with a powerful but well-balanced Appearance
• Finish: long, complex, and persistently warm on the finish - the sweetness lingers, raisins, dark chocolate, and spice remain present, accompanied by a slight dryness reminiscent of fine sherry - an elegant, characterful finish that clearly reflects the origin and maturation
