The spirits then mature for several years in used bourbon Casks - a relaxed experience in the Caribbean and South America - before traveling to France for the finishing touches. There, the rums are blended in small, toasted Ferrand Casks to create a premium blend that will delight even the most discerning rum connoisseur.
With a dosage of 20 g/l, the Plantation Black Cask demonstrates that it can be a touch sweeter without losing its character.

- Nose: an intense and equally fresh start with aromas of ripe apples and bananas, plus soft honey, vanilla and fresh limes - then spicy-sweet aromas of Coconuts, coffee and nuts
- Palate: intense and full in taste with sweet notes of ripe plums, fresh pastries, nutmegs, tonka beans and caramel
