Profile: What Makes Millonario Kuytchi Special
Millonario Kuytchi is a tribute to the adventurous journeys to Peru to the mountain of seven colours – Vinicunca (Vinikunka). The rum was named in honour of the Inca goddess of the rainbow, Kuytchi. Enriched with precious natural aromas of cocoa and dulce de leche, it tastes delicious and soft, enveloping and winding like the warmth of the Peruvian sun.
The base is Ron Millonario. It is made at a family distillery in northern Peru whose origins go back to the 1930s: the distillery works with molasses and a Scottish column still from the 1930s. In 2004 the Italian bottler Fabio Rossi discovered this rum on a journey through Peru at the Hacienda Agrícola de Chiclayo; it is marketed by Rossi & Rossi in Treviso.
Kuytchi is a rum for anyone who loves toffee, dates and chocolate in a smooth, creamy glass.
