Intensely fruity apricot brandy from Lantenhammer

For this noble apricot brandy fine Vinschgau apricots, aromatic Bergeron apricots from southern France and Rose apricots from Hungary are used.
Gently crushed without stones and fermented with pure yeasts, the mash is distilled in small copper stills for up to 12 hours until the finely aromatic distillate with 70% vol. Alcohol content flows out of the still.
The apricot brandy then rests in traditional stoneware vessels for at least three years before the distillate matures for 14-16 months in rare 190l barrels of the Bavarian rum RUMULT and receives an unmistakable finish.
The fruit brandy apricot brandy matured in a rumult barrel is an ideal accompaniment to dessert. Apricot also goes well with game dishes.
