Independent bottler Wemyss is known for its single cask bottlings with unusual names - always named after what the noble single malt or single grain reminds the senses.
This is also the case with this 14-year-old single malt whisky from the Scottish Highland distillery Blair Athol - a robust, warm single malt that invites you to linger and enjoy.
Distilled in 2008, the "Be Thankful and Rested" 14 Year Old 2008 Hogshead Blair Athol was aged in a Hogshead for over 14 years, then Wemyss filled the cask to 277 bottles in 2022.

Nose: lively and robust with limestone and delicate floral aromas
Palate: malty with warm spicy notes, along with fresh grapefruit and pear juice
Finish: medium length in the finish, initially dry with a slight fruit acid - then surprisingly sweet
