Oban is located in the port town of the same name in the Scottish Highlands, which is a distillery one of the smallest and oldest in Scotland.
Oban has been bottling the Distillers Edition once a year since 1997, later matured in Montilla Fino casks.
Nose: clearly fruity aromas with a slight spiciness, salty sea air and juicy grapes - behind them oranges and some smoke
Palate: full and heavy in taste with fine fruit notes and sea
Finish: fresh coffee and spicy oak - followed by intense malt tones
